To give some perspective about just how fantastic google/gemini-3.1-flash-lite-preview is for the money, I burned 23 million tokens over the last 24 hours, at a cost of $2.51, running a very long, non-stop iterative process in Hermes, which solved an extremely complex development goal that would have taken weeks to complete manually. That same volume of tokens would have cost several hundred dollars, if I'd been using Claude Opus.
